The Zen Life Center will be offering a free Womens Self-Defense Seminar on Saturday, Feb.18 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A guest speaker will be sharing her personal journey from being shot twice in the back, raped and left for dead to becoming a successful author and coach. Additionally, self-defense and mental health expert Dr. Sheila Rochefort-Hoehn will be talking about the differences between niceness and goodness and how to differentiate between fear and worry. Stalking, robberies, violence against girls on college campuses, workplace violence and domestic violence are some of the different scenarios that will be addressed. The seminar will conclude with self-defense training by Master Richard Hoehn and Dr. Sheila Hoehn. The seminar is open to girls and women who are 14 years old and older. Due to the personal story our guest speaker will be sharing, we ask that a parent accompany all 14 through 16 year olds. Please RSVP by calling 407- 695-7555 or texting 407-247-7443.
