About the Voice
The Voice began publishing in Oviedo in 1990. In 2000, the Voice added the city of Winter Springs to its coverage area. The Seminole Voice is a weekly community newspaper covering the areas of Oviedo, Winter Springs, Geneva and Chuluota.
In its 23rd year of business, the Seminole Voice is the area’s most well-known, well-respected and widely read publication, praised for its independent reporting and commentary on current issues, the arts, local schools, youth and collegiate sports, business, law enforcement and personality profiles. In addition, the Seminole Voice covers and analyzes the impact of local government on the community.
Special Features included in the Seminole Voice newspapers are: “Between the Celery Stalks” by Janet Foley; “Stetson’s Corner” by Karen McEnany Phillips; and "From My Garden to Yours" by Tom Carey.
The Seminole Voice is available free to the public, although paid subscriptions are included for those who desire the convenience of guaranteed home delivery. 10,000 copies of the paper are distributed every Friday via mailed subscriptions and placement in newspaper racks and stands. We are also partnered with the Publix locations in Oviedo and Winter Springs.
www.SeminoleVoice.com is the online extension to the Seminole Voice (“Voice”). A robust compliment to the print edition is the ever expanding online website. With more than 10,000 pageviews each month and an average of 72 percent in new visitors, our website has emerged as the source for everything LOCAL including community news and interest stories, as well as coverage of politics, events and athletics.
SeminoleVoice.com and The Seminole Voice are published by Turnstile Media Group, which also publishes the Winter Park/Maitland Observer and www.WPMObserver.com, in addition to Baldwin Park Living magazine.

You’ll see a renewed focus on the Voice's coverage area — Oviedo, Winter Springs, Chuluota and Geneva. The newspaper exists to support that community and we will be ramping up our presence at community meetings and events. Let us know how we can improve the newspaper and what you’d like to see us cover. If you think it could be a good story, tell us about it!
We strive to bring you unbiased, accurate and compelling stories that you can’t find anywhere else. If you see an inaccuracy in the paper, please report it to email@example.com. We will publish any corrections or clarifications immediately on our website and in the next issue of the paper.
