Chuy’s is all that it’s supposed to be. When the food is good (and fresh) why not let it be fun too.
A round of applause for an Italian restaurant with a delicious flair.
Needless to say, BRAVO! gets six thumbs up (there were three of us). Here was a restaurant that I had never tried and we loved the ambiance, the décor, the service and the food.
We had a wonderful time at Pepe’s Cantina and I happily recommend it highly.
When it comes to Mexican restaurants, in addition to wonderful food presented well, I want the meal to have an added level of fun.

Those stacks were little altars to the worship of Ahi tuna, and I worshipped with every glorious bite.
I expected the food to taste good, but I sincerely enjoyed everything I tasted.
The new eatery includes an 800-square-foot patio and serves Mexican-inspired dishes like chicken burritos, fish tacos and pork tacos created with fresh, all-natural ingredients and no preservatives.
Jack's Steakhouse rebrands
Jack’s Steakhouse is now Provisions & Buzz Co., and that “new” restaurant is benefitting from Chef Josh Spisak’s inherent love of food.
The Strand does do lunch, but in the evening, it becomes a place where magic happens thanks to the subtle artistry of this very-married chef duo.

Al Bacio is a wonderful find – a welcoming Italian family cafe, located on the quiet end of Park Avenue.
What does chef/owner Chau Trinh have in store for lovers of interesting Japanese food with an artistic twist? A lot more whiskey than before — rising sun style.
RA Sushi does it all right – décor, food, service and welcoming atmosphere.
Most important is the taste, quality and originality of everything from signature bar drinks to appetizers that had me doing my “happy food dance,” to generous-portion sushi rolls that bring the idea of fusion to a whole new level.
